is the coordinating theme for the upcoming 10th Inkaba yeAfrica Scientific Workshop scheduled from 29 September - 3 October 2014, Matjiesfontein - Karoo, SA.  Inkaba yeAfrica is now well into Phase III's second academic year, 2014.  The Inkaba yeAfrica and !Khure Africa Scientific Workshops are concerned with reporting significant research results over the 2013/14 period by MSc and PhD students on both the Inkaba yeAfrica and !Khure Africa Programmes of DST and NRF, managed by AEON (Africa Earth Observatory Network).  Maximum (70pp) accommodation and conference facilities have been reserved at The Lord Milner Hotel in the historical village of Matjiesfontein. With the 9th Inkaba yeAfrica Scientific Workshop in Germany, we officially reached the end of our 10-year bilateral cooperation agreement between South Africa and Germany in 2012 (and the end of Inkaba Phase II).  The 9th Annual Inkaba yeAfrica GEO-FUTURE Workshop in Germany, from 25 - 30 November 2012 was hosted by the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam - GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, as part of the German - South African Year of Science 2012/2013
